Last year I tried to take things to the next level (seen in these photos), using live garland over the windows, tying them off with fabric bows. To avoid damaging walls and and trim, I used the handy 3M Command Clips. They worked wonders and were strong enough to hold the live garland at each corner and removal was a breeze. Clean-up on the other hand with all of the pine needles was not so fun. I may try something a little different this time. Click to see more photos!
I'm a traditional at heart so I kept my tree to reds and silvers, introducing natural colors with the music cards, thanks to Pottery Barn. This year, I'll be taking it a step further, mixing in burlap ribbon with the reds.
